From the United States Catholic Conference of Bishops Subcommittee on the Catechism .

The (USCCB) Subcommittee on the Catechism assists the bishops, both collectively and individually, in fulfilling their role as chief catechists in their dioceses. The primary work of the Subcommittee is to foster the authentic implementation of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. This work is accomplished primarily through reviewing catechetical materials for conformity with the Catechism.

Publishers may voluntarily submit their texts and materials to the Subcommittee for review. Once the Subcommittee has deemed these materials in conformity with the Catechism, they are added to the Conformity Review List, which is updated on a regular basis: Conformity Listing .
