The Office of Marriage and Family Ministry’s mission is to foster and strengthen the sacred bonds of marriage and family life within our faith community, promoting love, understanding, and unity.  Through compassionate guidance, education, and support, we empower parishes to create a flourishing culture of love, commitment, and faith, nurturing the well-being of couples and families in the Diocese of Orlando

We envision a diocese where every marriage is a testament to God’s grace, love, and joy, and where families are the foundation of faith and Christian values. Our Office aspires to achieve this vision by providing the necessary tools, resources, and pastoral care to ensure that all marriages thrive and families flourish. We see a future where:

1. Marriage Preparation is a transformative journey that equips couples with the skills, faith, and understanding needed for a lifelong commitment.
2. Marriage Enrichment & Support is readily available to nurture and revitalize marriages at every stage and to promote a culture of continuous growth and renewal.
3. Natural Family Planning is embraced as a holistic approach to family planning in harmony with the teachings of our faith, respecting the sanctity of life.
4. Those who are Separated and Divorced find solace, healing, and a supportive community within our Church, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity, faith, and hope.
5. Victims of Domestic Violence are supported, protected, and guided towards safety and healing, recognizing that no one should endure abuse in silence.
6. Parish-Based Marriage Preparation programs thrive, creating a network of faith communities committed to the well-being of couples and families.
